: About Me

I am the Co-Channel Manager for the Hobbies and games section. I share this channel with Chanell Gautreaux who looks after the Hobbies section whilst I am responsible for the Video Games section. We really need more writers for our channel, particularly in emply articles  If you have any questions or comments about my section, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me. I am also community editor, predominantly for the Hobbies and Games and Sports sections.

I have been an IT professional since 1994, working in software development and project management.  I develop business applications for Windows and the web in C# and ASP.NET and then project manage their timely installation on the customer's infrastructure.

I have had several important voluntary roles over the years, previously being a researcher for Sports Interactive on their highly successful Football Manager series.  Currently I am a school governor which I have been doing since September 2008. I am also a qualified Football Association Coach (Level 1) which enabled me to manage my sons football team for 3 years.

All of this experience enables me to write high quality knowledge based articles in each of these areas. Usually these articles are based on first hand experience which adds a certain amount of realism to my work.

I also write for ciao.co.uk, Dooyoo and Amazon.co.uk but I have toned this work down to devote more time to improving my generic writng rather than being stuck in the niche of review writing.
