I grew up near Wheeling, WV and after high school attended Marshall University in Huntington, WV, where I received a B.A. in English, History, and Classics. After two years in the workforce working for TeleTech Inc. as a Customer Service Representative, Team Supervisor, and later Training Team Leader, I returned to school. I am currently pursuing my Masters in English at Syracuse University, with an especial focus on Film, Television, and Popular Culture Studies, Early Modern Studies, and everything in between.
I have numerous scholarly and writing interests including (but certainly not limited to:) film, television, popular culture, history (anything from prehistory to roughly the 17th Century, though I've been venturing further afield,) pets (of any variety,) and much more. I have published articles with various websites, including eHow, Triond, Associated Content, Bukisa, and Demand Studios. I am also interested in education, and I currently teach Academic Writing to approximately twenty students per class.
