About me

Briefly me

My passion is ...

doing the family tree, writing, researching, and learning

I know too much about ...

you are never too old to learn. There are no dress rehersals in life. To sit idly by and be stagnant will only bring you regrets. You have to want to help yourself and then life will bring you the nudges of opportunities. Learn from the past and embrace what life is willing to offer you that will get you to where you need to be that brings passion and purpose. Be grateful for what you have, always have a plan, and pursue your dreams.

My parents always told me ...

actually it is my dad who told me, "Don't tell me what you're going to do, but what you have done."

My favorite memory ...

I have more than one - lightning bugs, buying my first car, buying my first trailer and then my first home by myself, graduating from high school, going to college, family, friends, and people who gave me my jump starts I needed to be in a better place than I was before, camping with friends, and my son's graduation.

Why I write ...

because it brings me joy. It allows me to reflect, to learn more about myself as I write, and it has always been easier for me to flow my thoughts down on paper. I express myself best through writing.I love to learn and by doing my homework on a topic it allows me to learn and to grow. Researching inspires me because I am eager to learn something new.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I have an ecclectic taste

My first job ...

was selling newspapers.

My best moment ...

learning who I am.

My inspiration ...

is from my own personal life experiences and from other people. I have great admiration for those who have overcome hurdles in their life. Their stories inspire me. And learning new things that will bring me personal and professional growth greatly inspires me.
