What is there to know about a person?

I enjoy having deep, philosophical conversations. I appreciate those who take the time to get to know me, instead of settling for my spastic and happy-go-lucky exterior. Life has taught me things I can only (unsatisfactorily) share through writing and discussing with others. My life is all about work, work work. Yet...my philosophy is always about enjoying every step of the way.

Why do we dwell on our past? Most individuals would respond: "Because it makes us who we are." While this is true, there are much deeper philosophical and psychoanalytical approaches to this question.
