Ms. Smith currently serves as an occasional Arbitrator on the Federal Panel of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She has taught courses in bankruptcy law at the Rutgers University School of Law-Camden, and at the Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, DE. Ms. Smith has had the privilege of serving as an attorney with Community Legal Services. Inc., and as a senior associate with a major banking firm in Philadelphia, PA. She has served as a volunteer attorney with several pro bono programs including the Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project and Women Against Abuse. Ms. Smith also has an interest in Ancient Egyptian art history and is training to serve as a docent at a local museum.
