Where to begin? Well I've always loved writing and reading so I am starting my journey at this site to hone my skills and explore. I began developing my writing in high school through the literary magazine and through various written speeches as a Black Student Forum president.
Professionally, I worked with a major non-profit in the development department writing grant proposals and fund raising articles. Currently, I am a proud college student in NYC by way of Philadelphia. I have a loving mother who still resides in Philadelphia (and who has her own 5star-tastic articles on Helium) and a super sweet beagle/black Labrador mix.

Believing in the Lord is a glorious experience that can be equated to childhood. As a child, you depend on your mother to teach you the essentials of life.
