I have many interests, love reading mystery books, anything about tigers, and grandkids (not particularly in that order). I wrote a Bible study and am pretty much unmoveable in my literal biblical view. I am attempting to write a couple mysteries one for adults and one for pre-teens. I have six grandchildren. I have five children, grown - but not grown up. We have a German Shepherd (Kobe)and a potbelly pig (Porky).
I am a Baptist and use only the King James Bible as it is the closest translation to the Hebrew & Greek Scriptures; all others have changed wording added to or left out important content which changes the meaning of the original scriptures. Keeping always in mind that, "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the Prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" (II Peter 1:20, 21).
I have published six humor books and three small Bible studies on Amazon Kindle that are selling quite well. I also published the humor books into three volumes which are available through me or on-line at Village Books in Bellingham, Washington. Actually, the third volume will not be available until mid-April 2012 as I don't have the money to publish it yet. This will probably be my last humor book for awhile, but never say never! Spent 35 years of my life making concrete lawn ornaments. I am Croatian, my husband is German... a family of stubborn, but silly people. That's about it.

Why are they there? Why did God put these strange names in the Bible? To make it boring, to confuse us, to see if we could learn to pronounce them? No, because every word was put there to teach us, and every person named was important to God; even the unnamed ones like the woman at the well and the poor widow were important and loved by God.
