A working mum (secretary/administrator) by day, I follow my creative urges in my spare time. Presently engaged in writing my first womens novel, I also enjoy writing short stories, essays and poetry. I have come back to writing after a gap of many years since I first had a short story, The Dreamweaver's Cottage, published in an anthology, which has long since disappeared into oblivion - but has left me with the desire to develop my writing skills further.
Because I believe passionately in self-development, I am also studying science with the Open University, with a view to gaining a BSc(Hons) in Natural Sciences.
Photographing the natural world, trying to capture the beauty, the essence of our living planet is also a passion for me. I have an online gallery, which I devote as much time to as I am able whenever I have new material that I can use.
