Clifford Kurt is a 40-something professional living in Austin, Texas.

His stable 23-year career with one organization came to an abrupt and unexpected end, and he joined the 436,999 other workers who found themselves unemployed in June, 2009.

While searching for work. Cliff is trying to make a go as a free-lance writer. He fancies himself as another Dave Barry, expect for the lack of fame, money and a regular writing gig.

He has three grown children who are the ligth of his life and eagerly awaits the opportunity to update his biography with news of his marriage to a wonderful woman this September.

In the late 1970's, the isolated road leading east off of the Michigan end of Flanders Road in Toledo, Ohio was dubbed Spook Road.
