Who am I? That is an interesting question. I, like you have been many things over the course of my time on this planet. My experience that includes doing everything from pumping gasoline, to running my own corporation. I have been a carpenter, bartender, retail manager, environmental consultant, surfer, sailor, grant writer, poet, entertainer, fly fishing guide, naturalist, artist, social and environmental activist, truth seeker, and spiritual sage just to name a few. On the personal side I am loving a parent, and grandparent.
While I have always been a writer, it wasn't until recently I felt the desire to share my words with others. The exception being grant writing, in which I found some success.
I look at life as one big adventure, and I've taken the approach "first live it ,then write about it". So I have, and now has come time to write about it. My creed has always been to try and make the world a better place one day at a time. To accomplish this challenging mission, I strive to commit at least one act of random kindness and to create something beautiful each day. I've found it's really not that hard, you should try it sometime, and the rewards are infinite. Other than that I am just another human being enjoying my brief time here with amazing people like you. My Haunted Heart As I sit here alone in darkness , I hear them Echoing voices bringing back memories My loves, my friends of a time long since past They are all here Wandering the halls of my heart Their presence haunting me for I am not with them, I have traveled on but my heart still remembers. From this here, I understand the reasons we no longer share the same place still it doesn't stop my heart from missing them Some of us are called to be alone We are meant to walk the path between worlds This path is not for everyone For it means leaving much behind Perhaps one day some will follow...
