I come from a huge family with kids (nine of us) practically poking out the windows. Same mom and dad for us all.. I KNOW! Luckily we all made it through our teen years without driving them to the mad house. I have a beautiful teenaged daughter and she is really the greatest.
I worked in construction for most of my life. I have cleaned concrete forms, read blueprints, poured concrete when help was needed. I have worked in a cabinet shop starting as a floor sweeper and made it my desire to be able to do everything in the shop. I learned to do wood repairs and after a few years of practice, I went out on my own. It was a knee shaking experience, but I knew in my heart I could do it. I have been at it since then.. going on six years now.I never get bored of it so that is good.
I have always loved to read and write everyything but I especially love religious books like the dead sea scrolls, and lost books of the bible, and historicals. I am a fast reader but I always get hung up on misspelled words. ( I probably spelled that wrong too.)
I love the outdoors and dutch oven cooking, or even a hot tin foil dinner. I have a love for cooking and look for recipe books of any kind.
