Glodean Champion was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She claims to have come out of the womb bursting with creative energy and credits her mother, Frances, for fanning the flames instead of trying to put them out. With a BA in English and an MFA in Writing, her writing has been published in several journals and publications.
She currently lives in Country Club Hills, IL (south suburb of Chicago) with her aunt, uncle and adorable pooch, Maxx, while working on her first novel and writing short stories. Glodean says if she hasn't learned anything else in life, one thing is clear: Life without change is no life at all. Love without growth is really fear wrapped in familiarity.
