About me

A Professional Communicator

I am a marketing communications executive who has won awards as a broadcast journalist and a marketing communications professional. I have also managed teams of communication professionals as a marketing executive with two Fortune 500 companies. As head of my own marketing communications firm, I created the innovative Online Press Release Factory.

Writing has always been a big part of my life and now I am engaging my passion as a college writing instructor, a freelance writer and a voice talent.

One of my best work experiences was serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer (Ethiopia 1973 - 75) teaching English and managing a famine relief warehouse for the U.N. during and after Haile Selassie's reign.

A Budding Novelist

My first novel, A TIME TO... , has been hailed as "A GREAT new spiritual book!" by the Anglo-Catholic News Service. Midwest Book Review has rated it "Five Stars" and more accolades arrive weekly since it was published as a paperback in February, 2011. The story reflects my interest in living life to the fullest by experiencing more than just the physical world we see everyday. It is a baby boomer's spiritual adventure on 9/11 that confirms that faith, hope, love and charity survived that horrific tragedy.
