A Professional Communicator
I've won awards as a broadcast journalist and a marketing communications professional. I have also managed teams of communication professionals as a marketing executive with two Fortune 500 companies. As head of my own marketing communications firm, I created the innovative Online Press Release Factory.
Writing has always been a big part of my life and now I am engaging my passion as a freelance writer. Since I own a pharmacist recruitment firm, I can write whenever I please, and I am writing more frequently these days on a variety of topics.
One of my best work experiences was serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer (Ethiopia 1973 - 75) teaching English and managing a famine relief warehouse for the U.N. during and after Haile Selassie's reign.
A Budding Novelist
My first novel is about a risk manager who flashes back on the spiritual milestones of his life as Tower One of the World Trade Center collapses on him. It is a story about faith, hope, love and charity. Like in "The Wizard of Oz," it takes the main character through improbable experiences with many interesting characters to reveal important truths about his life. The story reflects my interest in living life to the fullest by experiencing more than just the physical world we see everyday.
