What am I? Who am I? Who's asking?
Those are, indeed, the questions. I am a multi-faceted individual, a carbon-based bi-pedal life-form - a diamond on legs. It says here.
Generally, I am a writer - this is what I do, it's what I'm good at - or one of them, at least. I write poetry, essays, stories, and increasingly, musicals; in short, if it comes in words, I'll do it, so long as it isn't legalese or anything like that. The party of the third part heretofore... does nothing for me, except wind me up after making me three parts mad!
I am a musician. I compose (hence the musical), but I also help direct a choir, a Pagan choir, to be precise. It's interesting that the words and the music sort of go together; one of my favourite of my essays is more prosody than prose, which makes it interesting to listen to even if you don't like what it says. This is one of the reasons I like Shakespeare and Dylan Thomas.
I am a witch. No, don't confuse it with Wicca, for whilst all respect is due to Wiccans, they do not Witches make. I'm Trad, dad...
Anyway, that's me in a nutcaseshell; obviously, there's much, much, much more to me than that, but part of the art of good writing is knowing where to stop.

That's not to say it isn't a valid path if you're into that sort of thing; however, I will issue the caveat that "that sort of thing" usually also entails the sort of lunatic fringe which delights in fluffiness and eclecticism (both fluffies and eclectics tend to burn easily), imposters and losers who think that the title "Witch" will somehow buy them respect. I suppose it may buy them respect from the sort of freak who will fall for a loser anyway, but anyone wi...
