My name is Tahmina Begum Sattar. I completed my degree in English Literature from Macquarie University and worked in a bank for about a year. Marraige took me to the UK where I continued to do various voluntary projects with preschool children and literacy.
Our family took on an cultural expedition to Damascus, Syria where I learned a lot about the history of civilisation in a fantastically beautiful and surprisingly modern yet safe country. There I visited the place where it is reported Cain killed Abel.

Time is something I have more of here so that I can finally spend time working on my favourite pastime - writing.
Currently I am trying to self publish three childrens books. Having found Helium I feel I have found a truly liberating place to sharpen my skills and be able to learn from other writers.
