About me

Born in Rainham in Essex UK. Moved to North Tawton in Devon when I was 10, and then to Bridgwater in Somerset when I was 14. I arrived at and took root in Oxford in 1994, I love Oxford and surrounding areas, and I now live in a village on the outskirts.

I attended Ruskin College in oxford in 1997/8 and have gained - A diploma in sociology and certificate in higher education, (I can if I wish add letters to my name, enabling me to be addressed as Coral Florey DipSoc). I then went on to study modules in social anthropology at Brookes University Oxford until 2000

Returning to learning with learndirect UK in 2004 gained me - Three city & Guilds certificates for literacy and numeracy, an ECDL qualification (European Computer Driving Licence and an ITQ (NVQ -National Vocational Qualification) in IT. I am currently half way through a degree in social sciences and loving every minute of it.

I have been married and have raised four children to some degree of sucess. Along with fostering children and councilling others.

My worklife has consisted of mostly work in the catering and licencing business, ( licenced bars and night clubs in the UK), gaining qualifications in basic food hygene, health and safety, a licencee certificate and a diploma in gourmet cooking. I have worked in the entertainment business, held an entertainment licence and loved actively managing night clubs, bars and restaurants including a bikers cafe, all great fun. I have been involved in promoting new dj's and several bands in the UK.

I have decided this is now my time, of which most I shall dedicate to writing, spoiling the grand-children and walking the dog. I am a member of the Association of Freelance Writers. I have had an article published in a local news paper.
