About me - Constance Ruth Clark

About me

I am a happily married mother of one toddler, living in my own happily ever after with 2 dogs and a bird in a small town in central Maine.

I've been writing stories since I was in grade school. Stories were always running through my head, but I'd never really had the confidence to try and get them published. When I attending boarding academy my senior year of high school, all the girls wanted to read the books I wrote, even the ones who never would speak to me otherwise!

Now I"m working on several novels and enjoy writing for the joy of putting my thoughts on paper. My best work comes from putting my opinions down in a humorous yet thought provoking way that hopefully make friends from my readers.

I hope you enjoy reading my work!

I read once "If you want to be a happy mom, then you first need to love yourself. No matter what the day brings, make sure you take at least 15 minutes for yourself somewhere in it." My immediate thought was like when?' Geez, if I had 15 minutes extra in the day, I'd used it for something, but it probably not me! I kind of feel like a Ghostbuster sometimes with that theme 'Who ya gonna call?" because they always call MOM! "Woof" The dog needs walking or feeding or water or to to be let out, now back in, no wait he wanted to be outside after all - oops it's raining. Whine whine, pant pant, ...
