My name is Shane Tucker and I live in Big Stone Gap, VA, a small rural town on the southwest tip of Virginia near the Kentucky and Tennessee borders. I have lived here practically all of my life, save for a couple of moves to Tennessee for about a year and Chicago, IL for about a year.
I have been married since 1997 to my high school sweetheart and we have 3 beautiful girls. I am a coordinator for a juvenile drug court, the largest in the state of Virginia. I have always been interested in art and writing, but have never really ventured far into those areas. This site gives me an opportunity to explore writing and have a little fun.
I have a wide variety of interests. I enjoy exercise and martial arts, music, art, video games, most sports, cooking, and traveling. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. They are the true source of my happiness in life.
When someone mentions boxing, what is the first thing that comes to mind? Most people would say "punching", because that is what the sweet science is all about; the art of throwing punches. Not many people would say "feet", but the importance of good footwork is just as important as learning how to throw a right cross or an uppercut.
