: About Me

Local Missions Representative, freelance writer and speaker, Lisa Nelson is highly involved with human rights needs. She aspires to be a published writer. She has been published by a few magazines and competitions. She is involved with many local and abroad causes, like a local food bank, that she helps with, gaining much needed donations and supplies. She has spoken to encourage teens at local high schools, in groups such as; The Christian Athletes Association. She is a 42 year old, happily married, mom of two wonderful sons! (And a lil yorkie)! As the Missions rep in her local church she attends, she is the liaison, between the Missionaries and the local church. She teaches Sunday School Teens, and helps w/ youth group! I She has written, since she was a young child. Being featured, growing up, in her own High Schools Yearbook. She suffers from a bladder disease with no cure, and likes to encourage others, that in adverse situations, YOU CAN MAKE IT...thru what ever! She loves to hike, bike, fish, hunt, play guitar, and even loves to dabble with nature photography! God has been good to her and she loves to take that message to all who will listen, through her written and spoken word! I'm a newbie here, but trying to take my writing to higher heights! I've recently even started up my own blog and website. My hope is to manifest life at it's fullest in my writings. Faithful is He, who has called me Faithful is His Name. Faithful and True I hold on to, Faithful the Word proclaimed.
