As a business owner and manager, I have extensive knowledge in public relations including press releases, business reviews, business plan writing and other areas of business related expertise. I have collaborated on several projects to help get beginning business owners off their feet and into the headlines.
After completing my psychology/sociology training, I have spent much of my free time working on political science projects in an effort to improve local communities. I have experience with lobbying at the state level and have been involved in several prominent political debates about welfare reform both as a speaker and a writer. I often use my writing talents to write article pieces about current issues involving welfare reform and administration as well as educational reform and other political issues.
I spend most of my working time with my husband in joint operation of our home improvement company. I have gained extensive administrative experience, general home repair knowledge and customer service skills in this endeavor and enjoy passing on this knowledge in my writing.
Many articles and short stories I have written have been published on independent web sites. Families magazine, Parents magazine and The Tennessean Newspaper are just a few of the places you will find my work in print. Helium.com, Associatedcontent.com, familiesuk.com and Globalpublishingcentral.com as well as several independently owned websites and blog sites are among the many places where my work can be viewed on-line.
I am currently working on several projects including a cook book, a drama/thriller novel and a series of home improvement do it yourself e books.
