: About Me

I am the guy that has never been able to figure out what I want to do when I grow up and I probably never will as I do not plan on ever growing up. The advantage that this gives me is that I have been able to live more than almost anyone that I know.

I have been in no particular order a cook, soldier, cashier, stockbroker, computer technician, computer programmer, ditch digger, landscaper, handyman, martial arts instructor and so on ad infinitum. The greatest part of this is that I have an incredible pool of experience to call on. This has also given me the ability to learn rapidly so that I can effectively move from one field to another with some proficiency. In fact many people believe that I have done any one of these fields all of my life.

I am a Buddhist but like most things in my life I am my own particular brand. I can remember my past lives like they were yesterday which causes some interesting tension in my life. Maybe you can imagine what it would be like to be a kid and have far more memories than life.

I have ten older brothers and sisters. My father was a career soldier and my mother is an incredible wife, mom, homemaker and more thing than I could ever say. My father was and is, even though he passed, my hero.

I enjoy martial arts, both hard and soft styles though I must say I prefer Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan over anything else that I have studied. I also enjoy rock climbing, kayaking, snowboarding, scuba diving and more than I can ever state but this should give you an idea of who I am. I think it would probably be easier to say what I don't like.
