About me - Melody Landeros

About me

I grew up in the rich culture of Hispanic American in the Napa Valley. As one of eight children I have experienced the joys of family life in Calistoga. I attended San Jose State and finished my graduate studies with a MS in Engineering Management. I have been an engineer, a manager, a business owner and made pickles for Del Monte one summer. Two marriages later, I have experienced life in multi-cultural environments as my first husband was from Azerbaijan, Iran and my second husband's family was from the Philippines. I have spent my life writing in one form or another from expressing the depths of despair in relationships gone awry, to publishing children's books, to research on international arbitration and intellectual property law. I enjoy self expression through writing and sharing my life's experiences and opinions. I have recently started to write on a more "professional" level and the experience has been enlightening. Our words paint dreams, ease aching hearts and give hope when hope has been lost.
