I've been writing for as long as I can remember - for my elementary school newspaper, for the high school yearbook, throughout college (Penn State) where I majored in journalism and advertising and throughout my professional career.
My first job was with a large, international public relations firm and my next was with a global corporation where I had increasingly responsible positions in public relations, advertising, marketing and corporate communications over a span of almost 30 years.
Personal writing is also a passion. My own collection includes poetry, letters and journal memoirs from many years ago.
My father wrote music. My mother wrote poetry. I guess it's in the genes.
