: About Me

When I was a child I was an avid reader and writer. Spending countless hours sitting at the kitchen table writing on my latest manuscript or pouring through the pages of an adventure novel.

Through school I have studied history, especially Tudor England and the Tudor Royals. I have business education as well as travel and tourism in college and practical experience.

Many years in retail lead to opening an online business, first selling collectables and books, to expanding into graphic design and writing. I have always believed in pursuing your dream and never giving up on that pursuit.

I have been with a talent agent and have gone on auditions as well. I have produced, directed and acted in several of my own movie and theatre productions, as you can see the arts are where my passion lies.

Tudor History, the Titanic, Weather, especially severe storms, films and theatre.

My parents always told me ...

To believe in yourself and make your dreams come true.

My childhood ambition ...

Was to either be a meteorologist, actor/director or a business owner. I have only not become the Meteorologist.

My favorite memory ...

Having my first film shown in film class in college. It was a very exciting time and I was proud of the work and was rewarded with an excellent grade.

Why I write ...

I find I have many stories churning around in my head at any given moment, characters and ideas, places. Even Non-Fiction ideas and thoughts. It's my way of giving something I hope is special to the world.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I love to read mystery fiction like Lisa Jackson, John Sandford and Joy Fielding. I listen to pretty much anything from country to rock and musicals. I watch shows like Prison Break, Survivor, Supernatural and Ghost Whisperer

My first job ...

Was working at a Burger King when I was 16. I made a few good friends there who have helped me and inspired me to continue with writing.

My best moment ...

Was being published for the first time in our local newspaper. How exciting is that to see your name and writing for the whole of your city to read? Truly an exciting day.

My inspiration ...

is my parents. My Mom wanted to be a writer but because she was shy she never went for her dream. My father taught me you can work hard and achieve whatever you believe isn't possible.
