I am a writer, traveller and photographer. No topic is off-limits and I enjoy challenging myself to learn and write enjoyable and engaging articles in new fields. I love writing travel experiences and all articles in my portfolio are based on first hand experience.
I trained as a Chartered Accountant and I work in financial services. My professional background is in budgeting, accounting, auditing and financial models; however my writing focuses primarily on travel and the arts. A nomad with gypsy feet, I have lived in Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, London and New York City. I am currently based out of Australia.
I started writing webcontent in March 2009 and have enjoyed modest success both on Helium and on Constant-Content, where a different selection, style and tone of my articles are available for sale. I also maintain a personal blog "Travel and Other Transient Things" which was started mainly as a way of keeping in touch with friends and family. My blog highlights my travel experiences and the detail, disasters and triumphs of day-to-day living in one of the greatest cities in the world. I showcase my best photographs on Redgage, where a community of like-minded members share photos from around the world.
I am the Channel Manager for the Europe Experiences sub channel in Travel as well as for the Personal Finance (Other) subchannel. I would love to hear from members if they have any questions, concerns or feedback about the articles posted in this area, or simply regarding Helium in general. Please do not hesitate to contact me by clicking on the "Contact this Writer" button underneath my profile picture. I'm also tweeting! Feel free to add me @peggy_tee.

It is my first time here, and I touch down on new snow and catch a glimpse of Manhattan's skyline from the train into the city. Nothing really prepares you for the beauty of this - even though I've seen this so many times before on celluloid, in photographs - the visual impact hits like a punch to the solar plexus. The first thing I do at the apartment is dump my bags and off we go, int...
