I'm a young baby-boomer. I've raised five kids, and am planning to eventually retire outside of the US. Neither my husband nor I have ever worked for companies that offered pension plans, 401(k) plans, or the like. Although I'll always write, I don't want to have to hold down a job until it kills me.

We're looking into some Latin American locations, and I'm learning Spanish. I blog about it at <a href="http://futureexpats.com">Future Expats Forum</a>.

I write about health issues, society and culture, and dabble in politics when the urge gets too overwhelming.
