After I thought I was going to be an engineer, I ended up taking a number of journalism and writing classes in college and loved it; however, the job market for journalists in my area was slim, and I didn't want to move, so I set things aside for awhile. The passion bit again, and 14 years later, I discovered online journalism.
My interests include sports (especially auto racing and hockey), photography, music, and most recently, traveling. I like to combine these interests with journalism as much as possible.
I also write for Associated Content as Paula Thompson, where I am a Featured Sports, Music, and Local Contrbutor, as well as Examiner.com as Buffalo Events Examiner, Buffalo Sports Travel Examiner, Buffalo Travel Examiner, and National Motorsports Travel Examiner.
