Darmon Richter was born and bred in Oxford, England, and had started writing short stories by the age of seven. He went on to live in North Devon for a decade, where he studied English Literature and Music, and wrote a regular music column for a local newspaper. At twenty-two he moved to Cambridge, and began working towards a degree in Psychology.
Richter now lives in Bristol, where he spends his time reading, writing, and playing music - interspersed with frequent adventures across the continent into Europe and beyond.
