: About Me

I started writing creatively at a young age, and then moved into freely written and fixed poetry, as well as song lyrics - though I don't sing, it's an enjoyable thing to do. I do studies on topics that interest me and write speeches on the topic, to either promote, end, start or help a cause. I am currently working on several different horror/fantasy novels and a collection of poetry. I am not only a writer, but a varied artist as well. I usually draw and take photographs, and submit them on an art sharing network.

I have previously won some small, local writing contests within newspapers for short stories and speeches. I am currently putting together a small book of my poetry and will be soon submitting it into another local contest.

Writing Achievements:

1) The Simple Truth - Short Story - Christmas - Second place in local writing contest.

2) Electrified - Short Story - Fantasy/Romance/Action - Submitted to contest. Awaiting results.

3) The Mirror - Short Story - Fantasy/Adventure - First place in local writing contest.

4) Discouraging Drug Use - Short Speech - First place in local writing contest.

Here I stand, It is pouring rain. Yet I am dry. And I feel no pain. The clouds are dark, But my sight is bright, I feel no sanity, I feel no fright. I hear your songs, Of gentle times, Where people lived, And people died. I've realized my promise, And it is one I will keep. I stand in the dome of shelter, Where the evil do not sleep. I feel we have a connection, The thing that keeps me dry. Is what we have an assurance? Well, it is only for you and I.
