I Live in Florida, almost in the middle of nowhere. I live on ten acres with my family and farm animals. I grew up in the country, but from the time I was 18 to 31 I lived in the city. In 1999, I decided it was time to pack up and move back to my roots, a place to raise my kids and teach them to fish, hunt, farm, ride horses, and 4 wheelers and not have to look over their shoulder all the time. I have always had a passion for raising my own food and for animals. In 1995, I went to college almost ten years after graduating high school. I learned at that time as a single mother, fighting cancer, I was stronger than I thought and managed to raise my children on my own, hold down a job, go to college fulltime, fight cancer and pull off graduation with honors. My biggest defeat though was how well I did in speech and Literature classes. It has been my desire to write professionally since 1996, but life and circumstances have always seemed to hinder me and get in the way. I now realize, I have lost a lot of what I learned. Now, I am starting over again learning and have decided to pursue my dream of being a professional writer and will let nothing get in my way!
