Hey - thanks so much for taking the time to check me out. I am 33 years old, a single, self-employed, working mum. I suffer from depression and have a history of self harm. (Don't run away...) Recently discovered I am an alcoholic with an entirely unmanageable life. (Stay with me...) Have been thrown a lifeline in the form of Alcoholics Anonymous and its 12 Step Programme of Recovery. And that's when I started writing. It's early days, and I'm looking for some companions to share my journey. Hop on board - though I have been told to expect a rollercoaster of a ride!

Why I write ...

originally, to clear space in my head and hopefully help someone. Now though, it is simply an addiction. Though not one that is potentially lethal, so that is major progress for me.

reading Alcoholics Anonymous, watching Grey's Anatomy, listening to whatever is on the radio.
