Nick Zegarac is a freelance writer from Windsor, Ontario. He holds a Masters in Communications Honors B.A in Creative Lit and from the University of Windsor.

Before getting underway on the mechanics behind this years' 80th annual Oscar telecast, it would behoove the reader to reconsider that the business of handing out Academy Awards is arbitrary.
