: About Me

Hello all,

My name is Chris and I'm from MIlwaukee, WI. I began writing poetry at home at the age of 12. My friends in the neigborhood thought I was pretty good for my age because I was able to depict thoughts and emotions that we all shared. By the time I was 16, I was writing love poem and cards for school mate in High school. To think that I was only charging 25 cents a poem.
It had become an idle hobby as I got older and started to experience a more indepedant life away from home. Of course, then I became somewhat frustrated with things and had totally put it away.
By the time I was 24, a well of emotions, enlightment, and ambition just sort of overflowed within me and thus I began to write again. I wrote many spirited and inspirational pieces that, still again, seemed to depict what others felt.
Everyone has a story; and writing is basically an art form as any other that can be great fun when you sometimes lay aside that old weight that says "no one will be interested in what I have to say."

I would like to write short stories and... who knows...maybe a book suitable to be a movie. This is my hearts desire.

What is the measure for defining imagination? By inspiration, curiosity, or carelessness to the extent of how far we are willing to challenge things that aren't to be questioned? In my opinion, the treatment of people today who have strong imagination is respected and cherished because from this type of people we have light, electricity, Stephen King, and many other fine pastimes.
