I am a 75 year old widower of 20+ years, having been happily married for 36 years. I am a retired Graphic Artist, Advertising Art Director, sometime Illustrator, Painter, Photographer, Printer, and jack of all trades in the advertising/graphics fields who still keeps a limited hand in most of these things.
I have been writing intermittently for many years, both creatively and commercially. Most of the commercial work has been in the field of advertising. Since becoming a Christian in 1994, the bulk of my writing has been in the form of sermons, bulletin articles and poetry. I enjoy creative writing most, with an emphasis on poetry. I also enjoy writing Christian Sermons and Bible Studies. I consider Helium to be an excellent venue for my writing.
I am the Channel Manager for the Christianity: Bible Study Sub-Channel and enjoy interacting with other writers at Helium.
I have published a Zone titled "The Lighter Side of Poetry at Helium". Here is the link: http://poetry.helium.com/zone/8490-the-lighter-side-of-poetry
