Hi,I am a 50 year old ,married woman from Scotland with 3 grown children and 1 newly arrived grandson, who I absolutely adore.

I have enjoyed a career nursing for almost 30 years, but no longer practice due to chronic backpain ( the curse of us older nurses) .

I started learning the craft of writing a few years ago and decided to utilise my talent by publishing my work on the Internet. It's been hard work getting started but so much fun.

I love doing crafts in particular paper crafts and card making which I have started to sell and I am a member of a number of market research companies completing online surveys to fund my slight E-Bay addiction!

In what's left of my spare time, I love cooking, gardening and reading. I blog, facebook and twitter.

Doesn't this make me sound so motivated and energetic? I fear not, as my house suffers the consequences of my distracted lifestyle!
