: About Me

Milton Johanides is a Greek Cypriot elder of the Church of Scotland. a writer and an artist. He has preached sermons to an international congregation, is a former businessman and an entrepreneur who has won numerous awards. His latest enterprise was an art gallery in Southern Spain which featured over 100 artists. He has been on TV (BBC Songs of Praise) to present the simple message of God´s love as the only necessary goal in life. A graduate in Classics from Bristol University, he now spends his time speculating about political and religious matters, painting and writing. He feels fiercely the need to protect basic human rights against the greed of the incumbent power model. He fears that human rights should never be taken for granted and that the advances of the last century can quickly become undone by unscrupulous politicians and businessmen. He believes it is the job of intellectuals, philosophers and religion to monitor the extent to which this is happening and suggest solutions.
He has published many articles on numerous ezines on the perfect potentiality of God's creation and the disaster inherent in human self-aggrandisement. Failure to connect and stay in touch with the Father creator, he states, is the root cause of calamity. He advocates the pursuit of perfect moral standards combined with a universal tolerance of human weakness.

The best day so far of my life Was when I married my darling wife But there´s an even better day that´s coming That´s got the whole world humming Not Wimbledon or Olympic bliss Or a Royal balcony kiss  Better than Oxford and Cambridge boats And a curry night in John O´Groats This is the one to stay in for And have a special fling for My little girl is getting wed And there´s no more to be said Time has flown and made this baby Grow into a gorgeous lady She´s going to make him a special wife The best day so far of his life.
