Hello, and thanks for stopping by!
I stumbled across helium in early 2006, and have been writing here off and on ever since. At the time I was taking an online novel writing course and my Instructor, Suzanne James had a link to the site on her blog. Thinking it would be (and has been) a place to fine tune my writing I signed up. It feel's like a lifetime ago.
Back then helium was a little topic and answer site called heliumknowlege. After a year here, I joined some bidding sites and began doing some freelance writing and a number of ghost written blog posts. Ghost written ebooks followed, three of them in fact! I still love to do reviews; having done online product and print reviews of books, movies and community events for years.
In 2008, feeling like I was freelance written out I ventured back out in to the real world, to pursue both academic and vocational interests. In 2009 I turned documentary filmmaker and my short film 'Pinecrest' received local and national attention and was distributed through many Canadian library systems.
Passions ebb and flow and primarily since 2010 I have been concentrating on travelling, renovating properties and taking care of various family members, children and pets. I also discovered my new passion – comedy writing! I re-stumbled over this passion when I went looking through my folders for some information on an article I wanted to do and found an old teachers letter (2 in fact) that said I was born to do comedy. Hmmmm
The novels are loosely written, comedic writings can be found through my link to the side, and as I continue to grow and evolve who knows what may come out of my writings next. My first 276 articles here on helium are donated to charity (or should be!). My way of giving back through the cyber world, as I have received so much help and support from people here at helium and beyond.
*Disclaimer* Please, please please do not message me to tell me of spelling/grammar/factual errors in my writings. Many of my articles were done before helium changed its format.

The old saying of beauty being found on the inside may indeed be true but most women want to look and feel their best at any age. Styles and trends come and go, our lifestyles change along with our beauty needs and we need to keep up with the times. Nothing ages a woman more than the wrong hair, wrong facial care regime, wrong make-up and bad nails. Here's what to avoid.
