Gratitude I live on a smooth plain And play near a high mount I run through yellow grain And sparkling water fount I watch the water fowl Dance on the darkened sea And ride the stately horse While fireflies beckon me As the moon's milky glow Sweeps gently over me I sleep with gratitude For the earth's majesty
