I have a degree in English Literature from Aurora College (University) and a Certificate of Web Design from Columbia College.
I am on Elance.com and I have written ebooks, articles, press releases and designed business cards and brochures for clients there.
I was a Publicist at Marion Street Press and served as the Communications Director for the Chicago Northwestern District of the United Methodist Women as well as the First United Methodist Church of Oak Park.
There is so much to do! Since I have just three talents, I have to learn how to combine them to make the most our of them. I write and knit...and that's easy enough to combine. I write about knitting and I have two shops (designbcb on etsy and on Artfire) I haven't learned songs about writing and knitting, so I tend to sing as I write and I am a soloist in my church choir. So singing is a way for me to relax into my other two talents - which I am using to try and make a living and to serve the world.
Told you - there's a lot to do!

My inspiration ...
to live up to my parent's teachings.

'They will win the division. They have all they need on paper. Lou Pinella is a great manager. Could this be the year the Cubs go all the way? Will the curse finally be lifted?' There are those of us who breathe in Cubby blue and breathe out pinstripes. We are loyal to our team no matter how the...
