About me - Gary Wright

About me

I wrote a book in 2007 called Being Fear-Free. I self published. It looks good, sounds good, reads well and has brought some very pleasant responses from both family (of course) and friends.

When I first decided to write I stumbled around for years, making vague attempts to write down what I thought others might agree with, then it struck me...there is an old saying about writing, "Write what you know about". So, I did.

Since then I have begun two other books. One of poetry and the other about saying things you mean when you should actually be saying what sounds best. I know, it is a bit backwards, albeit, we never can be sure things are said the way they should when we lie. Is story-telling a lie? I did just self-publish the book of poetry.  It has been well received; one of those things I can be rpoud of writing and see others truly enjoy it.

I am older, mature man.I have lived lots of places and met hoards of different people. I have faced death three times; living through trials and temptations like many of you. I am an ordained minister with a multi-denomitional outlook. I hvae married hundreds of people and done an occasional civil union. I have accomplished many things.  I persist. I have grown, changed, met myself coming and going and find I truly have something to share with others, thus I am now here with you.

Religion & Spirituality > Heaven, Hell & Afterlife Where is the kingdom of God?

If it were not for mankind, there would be no concept of an omniscient being.  We, as humans, who crave having someone - “out there” to lead us and protect us and blame for all the ills and successes of the world population, have created myths and legends and stories about a wonderful all powerful being who lives outside in the heavens and ether lands and rules over all things in every way – that includes the good/bad/right/wrong scenarios of our lives. Where is the kingdom of god?  It is within us, and we had better start digging into the core of our being, and...
