: About Me

I am a former teacher with a passion for writing. I find writing to be cathartic, and enjoyable, especially, when the articles come from my heart.  I am happy that Helium is a great place to express myself, and publish my hard work immediately. I am pleased to see my articles climb the ladder to  the top when rated by other members.   When an article seems to be at a standstill, or in a downward mode, it is helpful that leapfrog is there to improve the quality of the original. I think this is a very good way to enhance the writing skill, as well as rating articles, which are also fun to read and are  informative.  There is much knowledge gained by reading the work of others who are learned in the article they choose to write.  I have been happy with the overall Helium experience and am glad I found out about this site.  I hope that  with trial and error one day an article that is written for a  magazine will be chosen for publication. Although I am aware the writing field can be a tough industry to get into,  I feel it is fun to write and be expressive, even as a hobby that is loved and enjoyed.

I do not remember a time when God was not a big  part of my life. I learned at a young age to pray and talk to Him everyday. It became part of my daily routine and a source of comfort, knowing I was looked after and guided throughout  my journey in  life. Beliefs come from within the soul, and are unique to each individual. People have their own perception of what God is like, and others may not believe in Him at all. But,  I know my own feelings about God, and have embraced the fact that I have truly felt  His presence in my life...
