These bios always make me feel as if I'm writing a personal ad. I like long walks on the beach, etc. My home town is a small place in Idaho, and I ran away at the age of 48. The Portland Metro area claims the honor of being my current port of call. I had to get the sea talk into this, my husband is retired from the US Navy. My days are spent writing stories, sewing period costumes and ritual garb, and caring for a 90 year old woman. I spent 10 years as a Realtor, 18 years as a mortgage loan officer, and I can't say how much time as a mother and wife because I'm still filling those shoes. The titles I'm most proud of are Witch and Priestess because I have spent years earning them.
My passion is ...
learning, writing, and reading. Mostly in that order.
I know too much about ...
nothing, it's not possible to know too much.
My parents always told me ...
"I hope you have a child just like you someday."
My childhood ambition ...
to was to be Marie Curie, unfortunately the position was already filled.
My favorite memory ...
How do I sort these memories? As a woman? A wife? A mother? At work? At play? I'm getting a headache.
Why I write ...
because there are people in my head that clamor to appear on paper.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
reading Bone Crossed by Patricia Briggs, watching NCIS, listening to old rock and roll.
My first job ...
Detasseling corn. If you grew up on a farm you might know what that is.
My best moment ...
When I knew that my life was in my control.
My inspiration ...
The Goddess above all else.
