Stephanie Edson Chandler is a professional whose love of books and writing has always played an integral part in her many careers. From childhood, she enjoyed reading and preferred to read over other social activities. School and learning always came easy and it is that love of learning that has fueled her desire to write more.
Attending graduate school at the University Of Texas Graduate School Of Biomedical Science provided Stephanie's first chance at publication. After completing a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Science, Stephanie spent seven years working as a research and quality control scientist in various Biotechnology companies. Many of the companies were start-up companies so one of her focuses was writing standard operating procedures for subsequent employees to follow.
A geographic move prompted her to take a closer look at her chosen career and she decided to venture away from the laboratory and into the world of data within pharmaceutical development. This new career however, allowed her to fine tune her editing and review skills through the review of medical data for clarity and consistency. She then took on the role of Quality Assurance Analyst, which mostly consisted of proofreading and editing an array of technical document, as well as writing for those that could not.
After twelve years in the corporate world, Stephanie decided to support her husband in the world of self-employment. They started a telecommunications company together and grew the company to four locations. During that time, she expanded her skills to include accounting and bookkeeping and ran the day to day behind the scenes' operations. Upon the sale of that business, Stephanie started her own company, Kids R Chefs, which operated a Franchise of Young Chefs Academy. This business supported three of her loves; teaching, kids and small business. It was here that she realized she had a passion for copywriting. From the semi-monthly newsletters, to the array of brochures and keeping up her website, she learned to use her writing to create enticing pieces for her customers.
In addition to writing in her professional career, Stephanie has been called upon to write various types of documents for friends, family and co-workers. She has written many letters of recommendation, cover letters and resumes. Another common request is for letters, usually to companies who have wronged the requestor in some way. She enjoys writing persuasive letters that result in a call to action to right a previous wrong.
Since selling her latest business, Stephanie has been furthering her writing skills working as a freelance writer. She currently writes for several content websites and spends much of her time utilizing her medical and pharmaceutical background writing medical articles for Livestrong.com

Private school or public school, this is a choice that plagues many parents. The most important thing to remember is that it is a choice and one to not take lightly. Too many parents today are so busy with their lives and trying to get ahead, that they take the education of their children for granted. They just send them to the closest neighborhood school irregardless of whether that is really the best setting for that child.
