: About Me

Glenn Steven Harsha was born in the desert of Phoenix, Arizona. Half his childhood was spent in the large city of Phoenix while the other half was spent in the small town of Black Canyon City. He says he feels at home in the desert, but loves the cold and he doesn't mind the bustle of a large city or the quiet of a small town - both are just as good.

At the age of 17, Glenn had brain surgery from head trauma in an accident at work. Miraculously, he not only survived, but has managed to bounce back in his life to go to college, travel the world, become an English instructor and a writer.

Glenn currently lives in Japan and has learned to speak and write the Japanese language. He dreams of one day writing a best selling novel in both languages; driven by his, "desire to write in a way that people can easily understand."

living with a delightful idiosyncratic japanese woman near Tokyo whom provided me with much stimulating conversation.

It is my desire in life to be able to communicate in a way that is both interesting and easy to understand.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I am reading Orson Scott Card "Treasure Box", listening to Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and watching Heroes on TV.

My first job ...

Owner of my own business at 16. Unless you count mowing lawns for pocket change.

My best moment ...

Living through brain surgery, finishing school, moving to Japan, and becoming a writer. The moment hasn't finished yet.
