Springtime in the Rockies oh, so grand A drive over Dallas steering wheel in my hand Love Springtime drives make me feel so alive Two horses racing me like the winter wind I flee Still heavy, snow capped, towering spires fourteen thousand feet high, reaching higher to my left, Oh, how they remind you contrasted against the sky so blue of a power, beauty, love so sweet that dreamt up such a wondrous treat The creek is brown and overflowed roaring life to all below racing me down the mountianside to the thirsty it's glorious ride The tree leaves all dancing in the wind birth is singing free ...
