About me - Bill White

About me

After winning a battle with panic disorder, many years in the business world, and a part-time job working with troubled adolescents, Bill was fortunate enough to find his life's passion and work. Yes, when it was all said and done he secured his counseling credentials and is doing all he can to lend a hand to those having a tough time. Does it matter it all happened shortly after he turned fifty? You bet it does. It makes it all the more sweet.

Inspired by his experience with panic Bill's written a panic attack education and recovery eWorkbook entitled, Panic! ...and Poetic Justice, which is available on his website. Bill also offers some powerful mentoring packages.

Bill is doing a lot of writing these days, as he continues his psychiatric emergency work. He remains available to conduct mental health workshops. So much more good stuff to come.

Bill enjoys many things - his work, reading, writing, spending time with his incredible teenagers (a young man and a young woman), working out, and generally checking-out what's new and creative out there.

Briefly me

My passion is ...

The brain, and how it makes us who we are.

I know too much about ...

Myself

My parents always told me ...

Honestly, nothing of note comes to mind.

My childhood ambition ...

Not to be abandoned.

My favorite memory ...

Time with my children.

Why I write ...

'Cause it 's what I love to do.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

Doing so much work on my blog and website, haven't had the time to read what I'd like.

My first job ...

Part-time janitorial work at our church when I was in high school. What a joke - I knew then that manual labor would never be my thing.

My best moment ...

My master's graduation ceremony

My inspiration ...

Ah - good one. No doubt, my children. After that - creating something special. Of course, maintaining a place to live and having something to eat is pretty good inspiration, as well.
