I'm thirty four, a mom, a daughter, a sister, and a military wife. I have four kids, two dogs and a car that won't fit us all. I began writing on Helium just as way to be read. I haven't written much, but hope to pick up the pace. So far I've gotten very good feedback, and I appreciate the encouragement.
Alone and silent in this bed I lie Over and over I ask myself why I long for your touch, your soft warm embrace your heartbeat that flutters as we try to keep pace Instead I lie cold, and motionless, still So empty my heart, it time cannot fill Awake and so cold I miss days of old when you held me and loved me and made love to me,so bold One day you will ache when I've found someone new And lie here awake feel this emptiness too when he wraps me in warmth as you slowly decay your cruel lack of love will have sent me away.
