It's nice to be part of this community of writers. I really just like writing for fun, I enjoy reading poetry best of all and a bit of Sci Fi and Biographies or Autobiographies.
I work full-time and have two children so I don't get a lot of spare leisure time but so when I do I read, write or do both on the computer :)
The name Broker originates from the Anglo Normandy, brocour meaning a small trader and also from Anglo French abrokur and French brocheor meaning retailer of wine. Reading between the lines it means the middle man, the go between. Although it is extremely ironic that the person in charge of trying to make you money is called a broker and may indeed also have far less money in his own bank account than the investor he is giving advice too, a bit of double irony there I think. The true definition however of a Stock Broker is a regulated professional who gives advice and buys and sells shares...
