I read Linguistics and Nigerian Languages from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Here, I obtained a Second Class Upper Division honours (2- 1) in Linguistics as my First Degree.
I deem myself a bundle of untapped talents, hence I write, Sing, and Act.
I write Poetry, Prose Fiction, and Screenplay:
I sing R& B and Gospel.
ACTING CAREER: I can interpret every role with the exception of Pornography.
My full names are Cynthia Ogbeyalu.K. Echeme. Interesting enough, the Cynthia that I am, represents quite a lot. Cynthia Echeme therefore, symbolizes an interesting and impressive burning flair for literary packages. So ...Welcome to my world of burning flairs!
I am naturally endowed with burning fingers for fictional prose writing; Poetry; Story-lines for movie production and Actual screen scripting.
I have written two supper story-lines used for movie productions, one of which was entitled ''DAYBREAK''
Presently, I have two highly captivating screen scripts ready for marketing.
Besides, I also have, in my collections, some interesting poetic piece, Articles, etc.
And my first book on Pros Fiction entitled 'His Venom' is almost ready for launching ,published by an American-based publishing company in Long Island, New York, called Black Booksplus (a Seaburn Publishing Group Company); while the second - a literary piece titled 'Lumps of Black Poetry' is still in the process of publishing.
And, because I am liberal-minded and diversified in my approach to writing, I have also written two major tittles that might be classed highly erotic and or mainly adult's. And for having such burning flairs, I touch every aspect in my writing; I am not static. What more? Based on this background, I was writing Romance Stories for a Campus Quarter Magazine, in Lagos before relocation.
As a result, my two short stories entitled "Perverts and The Philippine Hot Pants!" are bound to tickle and entertain the minds of those cut out for such writings.
I wish to be that good and intriguing story teller, who knows the skills of effective use of suspense, intrigue and imagery, as my own spices in writing. Moreover, I love and admire detailed analysis of events for a more comprehensive grasping of the gist-proper. In same vein, I want to be an honest writer, who writes typically as I think. Therefore, I suggest the slogan "Don't write it if you didn't mean it"
As it were, I see things from different perspectives. I tend to think and reflect from different angle, different from the crowd. My writing instinct tends to take my eyes to angles and images unseen by others. I, at all times, take a deeper reflection of what the other person may have applied a shallow approach to.
So, my immediate environment, my society and the world at large, are Cynthia Echeme's specimens. As a result, my literary mind is often sensitized and triggered by these specimens.
With my immediate environment, I am specifically concerned about the family. This is because I know that every other specimen springs from this The influence of the now- highly -stressed home on the child the 'Generation Next' and the creme de la creme of the society!
With my society, her chronic ills stare glaringly at my face that even the blind cannot help seeing it. I can't imagine a comfortable meal without having to fight a sudden loss of appetite reflecting over them. What with the rampant and seemingly accepted norm of stealing by tricks; which when well x- rayed and evaluated, is more horrible than actual armed robbery!
For instance, the pencil and sharpener producers in Nigeria. Their intentional and highly calculated production of substandard products brings tears to the very eyes of an average Nigerian Pupil, daily.I am thus influenced by this specimen that I also have a poetic piece written towards that. It's entitled Vengeance! This piece was written for my society and her leaders at that point of time.
And with the world, it's the broadest specimen of them all! I can't but ponder over many an abstract phenomenon, such as life, and death, its nature and why? Poverty; War and its ugly consequences. Because I undertake some sober reflections on these, I wrote two poems on Death: one addresses death itself; and the other addresses the nature of this transitory state.
What about war and its scourge? One never really experiences the ugly nature until one actually finds oneself in its dragnets . This writer did not experience the Nigerian civil war but cannot help seeing untold horror on the faces of those who lived to tell the horrible story. Closest to this, is the not-too-distant Liberian war! I actually wrote 'The Haunted!' when I had the privilege of chatting with a Liberian woman in Lagos, Nigeria, who was so lucky to have survived the massacre! As she told her story, I began to see her relive those moments of terrible fear, horror and hopelessness. And Mary would look left and right like one still being haunted by the horrifying images from her war scenes. These haunting images came from her her experiences in the bush, ditches and dilapidated buildings that served as her home at the time.
And this highly conscious mind of mine cannot help being concerned about this nudging fear in me. This fear that the less civilized world would turn a sorry sight without the help of the two nonidentical twin countries Great Britain and The United States! What with their help alert on the less privileged and highly impoverished parts of the world! Sudan as an example...
However, my better-half represents my influential source of inspiration. He speaks wisdom and interprets political equations for me which serves as my recipe for writing. He is a great inspiration that would give you a nudge to put pen to paper even when the pressures of the woman's natural responsibilities in the home come weighing down. He is a great inspiration that believes in me and my diverse potentials. And, a great and wonderful inspiration is he that never tires from the demands of my writing world. Cynthia's cap is always doffed for you Prince Echeme!
WATCH OUT FOR:
* 'His Venom' a highly intriguing book that will keep your eyes glued to the book until you have voraciously devoured the interesting piece. Check it out to see how a man's generosity almost had him assassinated from the very hands of a friend who happened to be the benefactor of such kindness; why you must not send that child out of the home no matter the offense or crime; the virtues of forgiveness even when it appears so impossible; the seed of unemployment on the delinquents and the wages of the sinful act of challenging one's God to a duet...
* LUMPS OF BLACK POETRY:
This is an interesting collections of African-based lines of verse pithily written based on African concepts of each title and with the treatment of the themes only.

It is ticking: The ticking of the clock. To tell the time: The long awaited time, A tell -tale time. For the father -mockers And the mother - mockers To fume and fool around. Fooling themselves foul. And to start sucking; Sucking themselves silly. In merriment, they'll be mobbed; In their fun, they'll be frozen; In their theft, they'll be towed; And in their deceit, they'll be dethroned. For it shall rain! And it shall shower! The people are waiting! Waiting for a new dawn. To eat bountifully again, And to laugh heartily again. It's truly time! Time for them to drink; Drinking to drunkenne...
