Hi, my name is Joe (Joe L. Watkins, Jr.), and I have been romanticizing the idea of becoming a freelance writer. Previously, I have been an investigator for a repo company (its called a skiptracer), and the last 2 to 3 years have been an over the road truck driver. I have been to more places than I care to divulge, but I cant complain; life as a whole has been good to me, as well as adventurous also. I hope that by writing here I can touch and enrich, or even empower other peoples' lives as well.
My passion is ...
music, art, writing, and good food (cooking).
I know too much about ...
nothing, as I am still learning..even at 50.
My parents always told me ...
live right, and life will be right by you.
My childhood ambition ...
was to grow up.
My favorite memory ...
is of my mother who passed at too early of an age.
Why I write ...
to me writig is another form of art. Painting a canvass with words.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
as of late, Rolling Stone to learn to effectively write music reviews
My first job ...
was the Army.
My best moment ...
graduating college.
My inspiration ...
is other peoples' problems/hardships. When you listen to another persons problems, yours can pale in comparison.
